Italian carpets

The carpet is a floor accessory made of textile. Its appearance was in ancient Persia (modern Iran) In translation the word carpet, means " rough blanket ." The most commonly used material is wool, but there also are made from cotton, linen, silk , hemp, jute fibers . The carpets are produced at vertical or horizontal looms by hand.
