Established in 1993, SITAP has developed a vast experience and a particular sensitivity in the design and manufacture of rugs and carpets.

These premises and the creativity of the young team of Italian deisgners who make up the company's recently created Centro Stile (directed by Barbara Trombatore) are at the basis of the collection MyDesign 2016: a concentrate of "Italian Fashion" inventivness applied to decorative carpets.

Most of the models and drawings in this collection were made in the last few months at the DOMOTEX fair in Hannover in January 2016. On this occasion they met with the immediate approval of the public.

Many of models in this collection are based on the concept of reusing ancient materials and textiles: an aggregate of creative proposals coming from countries that have the greatest traditions in rugs and carpets, but conceived and designed by genuine representatives of ITALIAN DESIGN. The result is a coming together of skill that has exceeded our own expectations.
